I swear, Persia learns new words every day! She understands, "It's not time
yet" so she's figured out how to ask, "NOW?" It's 30 minutes to dinner time
you goofy little girl. You are a fluffy cat. Wheesht yer mooth and quit
yer blethering :)

Enfilade...
Mom. M0M. It's breakfast time, M0m. C'm0n. C'monc'monc'mon

IN YO' FACE. *wet nose leather presses against my lips*

Heh. This is probably what Caliban is saying every morning when he waits
for his breakfast. I sit at the computer and he sits on the dining table
and stares at my back and keeps up a running commentary, but every time
I turn around and look at him, he shuts up and looks at me with that
'What? I didn't say anything' look on his face. And when I turn back to

Christina Websell...
LOL!! Boyfie does this too.

the computer, he goes off again: Meow meep peep peep meep eep peep eep
meow! (he has a very fluty, tiny voice).

That sounds like that cat video that someone (sorry, forgot who) posted
last week, of the "talking" cat:

jXwXeXrXmXoXnXt...
Oh, whoops, I just remembered - that was you, wasn't it? D'oh!! :)

Does Caliban sound like that cat?

Marina...
No, I didn't post it. Caliban has an even tinier voice than that, and
the funny thing is he hardly opens his mouth when he makes these sounds,
so it's like he is really trying to fool me into thinking it's not him,
it's just some eerie high-pitched sound coming from the ether - or maybe
from the Mothership...

Kreisleriana...
It could change. Stinky's voice did get deeper with age. When I got
him, he had a very high, light voice, higher than tiny Mimi's -- she
sounded like a feline Tallulah Bankhead. ;)

Marina...
Well, I sincerely hope it doesn't change. Frank started out with a tiny
little voice, too, but it gradually developed into a deep throaty yowl.
It got even deeper when he developed his hyperthyroidism, and his
enlarged thyroid gland pressed on his vocal chords.

Make Levees, Not War

I've never had a cat that just keeps up a steady patter of meeps and
eeps like that.

Christina Websell...
Maybe it's not cool to be*seen* asking your meowmie for anything..
