I'm sorry... I've been dragging my feet about it and now we
(literally) don't have any money to mail them. Or rather, I have some
money in my purse but I can't spend it until I know for certain that
I'm not going to have to use it to put gas in John's car so he can go
to work...

Again, don't worry. Cards arrive when/if they arrive, purrs and warm
wishes arrive immediately. ;)
Nox offers to fillet the soul of the thief. And, perhaps, the bank as
well.

Mmmmm... fillet of soul... :)

I hope whoever stole our money has a nice christmas because they've
ruined what we were going to have of ours :(

The cards should be the least of your worries, anyway it's traditional for
some rpca cards to arrive in January. ;-)

We are sending dirty smelly litterbox offerings to the creeps. Please
don't worry about the cards. I just hope you can get it all sorted with
the bank. Shame on them for giving you the run-around.

I'm really sorry that the creep (and the irresponsible people who let
the creep do it) ruined your holiday. :(
But I thought you said that you had resolved it with the bank so that
they had unfrozen your account? Did I miss anything?

They did... and we withdrew a bunch of money and put it into a savings
account to keep it safe... what we didn't know was that the fake
charges were going to clear anyway, so THAT money was taken out of the
account as well, leaving a decidedly UNpretty sight :( John fixed most
of it today and we'll get the money back eventually, but things are
going to be very lean until we do. Really the biggest annoyance about
it all (aside from all the stress) is that John had to take one of his
precious vacation days and spend most of it at the bank! Grrr....

Sorry,

Don't worry about it. Mine are going to be late also, every time I have a
spare minute to work on them it seems my arm is just aching too much to
bear, so I've been putting off doing them.

No worries, Karen. I'm sure we all understand.
