I love it! Kitties with flags and sparklers. Now why they'd choose
cats, I don't know, but it's still cute.

Oh, too cute! I love seeing how web-search recognizes holidays/other days
they deem important but I hadn't checked yet today. Someone must be a
cat lover there. I think web-search seems like it would be a nice place to
work for. They are moving some large part of their company (maybe
corporate, I don't remember) to the greater Phoenix area (Tempe at
Arizona State University) soon. I'm always hopeful I'll actually have
a cool job at some point in my life...

I would love to work for them (I think). My job is primarily with a
search engine (one of their competitors) and I like the challenge of
"finding what you're looking for". Especially right now, because to
many of us where I work, we all feel like we're working our asses off
out of a job. We're in the midst of network/email transition to their
systems all of the month of July.

Move out here!

It is cute. =o) A little silly when one considers the usual effect of
fireworks on living, sensible cats, maybe, but I approve, nonetheless.
One good "bang!" is usuallyenough to send my two scurrying under the
bed for safety.

Fireworks have been going nonstop around here, and my 3 are unfazed.
I've always noticed that dogs are much more bothered by them than cats.

Yeah, Oscar didn't seem to mind them. They drive me nuts, though,
probably because for years I had a dog who was terrified of them.

Happy Fourth of July to Cat Slaves in the U.S. And STILL a happy,
productive day to those living outside the U.S. even if it isn't a
holiday for you. =o)
