Persia, like any self-respecting cat, loves to snooze in the closet. She
went in and climbed up on the box to curl up on the comforter. But then I
heard her say "ma-ma!" which she normally reserves for "feed me!" I opened
the door wider to have a look. Somehow she managed to get her tag caught in
one of the plastic dry-cleaning bags covering one of my dresses. She was
just sort of sitting there on top of the box, not realizing a simple yank
would have torn the flimsy bag. Now she's got me concerned about those bags
so I'm reorganizing the closet so the covered stuff isn't hanging near the
box she jumps on when she's going to have a snooze.

How lucky that Persia was able to call you. I hope KFC never gets into this
sort of trouble as she cannot meow to alert me. She opens her mouth but no
noise comes out.
She can make plenty of wowling if she is fighting, though, so she can do
noises. I can't understand why she doesn't meow so she can be heard but she
never has.

Why make the effort to meow when she can just as easily read minds?
TuTu didn't meow either when I first had her. One day she was on the
enclosed patio when a BIG windstorm came up -- she not only meowed, she
literally screamed for help and she now meows, but still uses thought
waves. MLB

ruined about six or seven bags doing this. Plastic bags can be dangerous.
I have two cloth bags and am looking for more. It's great that she
would call her MaMa. Best wishes. MLB
