I mentioned in my introduction that Tao was a clumsy climber and
scavenger extraordinaire. He can and does open the countertop broiler
and cabinet doors. Lastnight he outdid himsel, I came out during the
night to find him on the cooktop, having pried the cover off a 10qt pot
which was full of pasta sauce, Tao was fishing out the pieces of ground
meat and dumping the pieces of tomato and onion on the cooktop. Tao!!

LOL! I assume that he told you his name when he came to live with you,

His name was General at the pound, I renamed him (it should be spelt
Tso I believe). He was the freebie from the pound so I assume he had
some history there.

right? At least he knows that onions are bad for cats. How is Harry

Thanks for asking. He seems out of the woods, I can feel some flesh on
him now, his behavior hasn't changed, pain or no. He and Bosco are
enjoying the outdoors under restricted hours (catdoor closes at dinner,
doesn't open til I'm back from bicycling).

doing? I meant to tell you that Selena had 9 teeth pulled at once and
she thrived after that. Prior to having the teeth pulled she was a
skinny, sickly cat that suffered skin allergies that were made worse by
the bacteria in her mouth transfering to the skin lesions when she
groomed. After she had her teeth pulled she put on weight, her coat
looked good and she began coming out from hiding. I think she just hurt
before then.

Karen's response to my initial post about some cats having an autoimmune
response to their teeth was Frank had the same thing and thrived after
his molars were pulled. The things you learn about our furrbabies.

I've noticed the birds are beginning to migrate, are you making plans to
come back to Florida soon?

Usually when the weather is cold enough to hinder my biking severely,
most often in the days before Thanksgiving. I've heard the birds
overhead, fall is the omen to ready to leave the woods and cars. I'm
wary of the noise the 3 new guys will make in the car, it's always been
just one new guy who usually follows the senior cats' lead and naps like
the rest, I can only hope. Norm
