Susan M...
I have these board of directors meetings once a month on Thursday nights.
After the huge lull in new episdoes, I was dearly hoping to get out of the
meeting in time for the show. No luck. Fred forgot to watch. No recaps up
yet on the net. I'm going nuts!!!

Anyone see it? Was it good? It looks like it reruns tomorrow night
though... hopefully also in Canada.

I don't watch it myself.

But get uTorrent from here:

Your episode is here:

along with pretty much anything else you could ever want.

Adrian A...
Do you have broadband? If so maybe you could download the episode somewhere.
hasn't started in the UK yet so I can't help with recaps.

Doesn't anyone use Tivos or VCRs anymore??

Adrian A...
You can't buy a new TiVo in the UK any more, they stopped selling them a
couple of years ago. I wouldn't bother with a VCR these days, I use a
HDD/DVD recorder which does everything I want. It is very rare that I watch

The DVR thread raises its head once again... :) Anyway, I was using the
word "Tivo" sort of generically. I guess the Tivo folks wouldn't like that!
I just meant anything that records a program digitally and stores it on a
disk. I guess an HDD is fairly similar, but is for high-definition tv?

Adrian A...
No, I was just using HDD to mean Hard Disk Drive, I just put HD if I'm
refering to High Definition which for me is some way off hopefully I expect
my standard definition equipment to last a few more years.

a programme as it's transmitted.

Susan M...
We never did figure out how to tape with our VCR, believe it or not! And
now, due to our wall set up, we can't plug it into our new TV even if we
wanted to. We haven't historically spent much money at all on our TV stuff
either so haven't gone and done the digital recording thing yet but I
suppose we should look into it. I sure like watching something without
commercials!

Victor Martinez...
Woman. You need to get yourself a DVR. Here in the US, you usually rent
them from your cable company for about $10 per month.

Fred shocked us all by buying the family a new TV for Christmas. We've gone
from a 20 inch old fashioned TV to a 37 inch LCD with great sound system. I
didn't realize how much I'd enjoy it until it was all set up! I can't wait
to put my Lord of the Rings DVD in and watch it. Some things were just lost
in translation on a 20 inch screen ;-)

The downloads aren't available in Canada - only in the US. Arghhhh....
