I'm the Barking fireman, thought i would just write to let you all know
that i was on the roof when i barked down the chimney. I had been up
there for 2 hours trying all sorts of stuff but it just wasn't working.

kitty's people appreciated what you did. From what I remember the kitty
took off at a very fast pace. Many thanks again from cat lovers all over

Hi Charlie! You saved the kitty stuck in the chimney! To us here, you are
a hero.

Though I still think it must have been a very weird and amusing experience
to anyone who might have walked by at that moment, and, not knowing what
was going on, see a firefighter barking down a chimney. :)

So for a laugh i thought i would bark down the chimney, I thought i
sounded like a dog and so did the dog over the road that barked back at
me, but the rest of them down the bottom of the chimney thought i
sounded like a monkey.

Thats how i think it got into all the papers

Oh I love that story too. What I love about it is that we hear SO MANY
stories about abandoned, neglected, abused kittens. Now here is a story
that gives me the mental picture of a whole crew of burly guys
collected together trying to SAVE one tiny little kittten. One tiny
little kitten with bad judgment! LOL. Wonder if kitty learned a lesson.
