My cats are out of control

Karen...
Last night I was sitting in the arm chair working on the computer when
Pearl came up to sit on the arm. This is usually followed by a bit of
biting meaning either "I'm hungry" or "I'm bored". Last night though,
she kept digging at me, like she does with a blanket. It finally dawned
on me "does she want to sit here?" She wouldn't stop. To test the
theory, I stood up to go get a drink. Sure enough, she assumed
possession of the chair. Sheesh.

Cheryl...
LOL! Now you will learn the line I use the most with Shamrock -
"Can I sit there?"

Sugar now realizes that the lazy susan cupboard is where food is kept.
She sometimes goes in there and thumps on the door if she wants food
and meows. Today she was doing that and I kept ignoring her. Suddenly I
hear "crackle, crackle". What the heck? Well, she pushed it open and
was pawing at the bag of chips I keep on the bottom level. I did then
feed her as I didn't want her breaking into the chips. Sheesh.

Kreisleriana...
My guys love potato chips, just another of their unorthodox tastes.
Pretty much, if I eat it, they just assume it must be great. Bad
assumption. ;)

Karen...
Pearl, the diabetic, of course, LOVES potato chips. *sigh*

CATherine...
It seemeth to that you are not taking slavehood seriously. As soon as
Mistress Pearl came to your chair you should have gotten up and
deferentially offered it to her! And you should have fed Mistress
Sugar before she got desperately hungry. Humph! Methinks you need an
application of Cat-o-nine tails to put you back into the proper
subserviant role! ;-)

sriddles...
Oh, girlfriend, I'm with ya. I realized the same thing this weekend. DH
is off fishing. I've got cats on the countertops, cats on the table.
It's like the *know*. Spooky. They know I'm not going to holler at
them, so they are just doing what they please.

mlbriggs...
Smart little people, aren't they? MLB

Lightwell...
In autumn and winter I have to share my computer-armchair with some of
my cats.
(Zorro, Felix and Julius.)(One after the other)
They insist on lying in the back of me.
Sometimes if the place is taken one of them then additonaly sleeps on
my lap.

Cheryl...
Aw meowmy, but she's been sticking to her diet and doing so well!
;-) It's terrible to have to be food police, but you do what you
have to do. For her. She knows. :)
