Birthday Irony........

Wednesday night the bitties show up, and I agonize that my digital
camera is broken. I'm forced to take pictures with my phone, send them
to my roomate, who access them on her computer and then sends them to
my email.

I managed to get about 6 good pictures. I could have taken hundreds
with my digital camera which was, alas, broken. And the second bitty
left Saturday morning.

I got a package from my parents this week which said "DO NOT OPEN UNTIL
SUNDAY JULY 9TH" which is my birthday. Well it is now 1 am, and it's
Sunday, July 9th so i opened it....

.....And found a brand new digital camera.

AUGH!!!!!!! Think of the pics i could have taken of the bitties!!!!

Didn't a friend of your roommate's take them? So couldn't you wangle
an invitation to that friend's house with your roommate, and bring along
your new birthday present? :)

My Dad is a total nut, and this is something he's done to me and my
brother and sister for years. He'll put a huge box that you KNOW is
full of presents right smack in the middle of the living room and there
will be a big sign on it saying DO NOT OPEN. This is the nut that will
give you book 3 of your favorite book series, even though you have only
just finished book 1. "What? You've only finished book 1? Well then I
guess you'll have to wait to read this one." grrrrr......

So me waiting is out of habit. It is the anticipationg of waiting
until 12:01 on your birthday to open your presents. :)

No they didn't know about the bitties, but the irony is definitely
laughable.

LOLOL! What timing! Oh well, you can use it to take other pictures.

I have a birthday coming up, too. I'm going to be somewhere on the other
side of 45. And loving it! I have a sweet cat and a cute little parrot and
a man who loves me and a father who thinks I'm still 16 and a mother who
knows I'm not. What more is there to life? :)
