Kili, I do so hope they got it all and you don't have to have any more
surgery. You've been through so much and you are so brave! You are an
inspiration!

tomorrow she's scheduled for surgery. She called the other day and she's
scared spitless. (Who wouldn't be?)

I know that feeling and I send prayers to her to come through it all with
good pain control.

She's going to be in for a long haul recovering from this massive surgery.
Along with the tumor they are going to remove 4 ribs and her left breast and
"rebuild" using muscle tissue from her abdomen. She will pretty much be out
of commission for about a year. That's why her MIL bought that motorized
recliner for her. On top of everything else, her husband has only been
working about 2 days a week and he's paid by the hour. (He's in
construction.)

Get those furry felines' engines revved up, please. She needs some purrs!

Purrs from Mrs Cat should be on their way tomorrow, after she comes home :-)

Meantime, have some purrs from all the cats I meet in the street, and
very occasionally at work :-) :-)

She won't be home for at least a week. They had to drive to the Mayo Clinic
in Jacksonville for the surgery.

I'm expecting to hear from her in a week or so, once they've released her to
go back home.

Mega purrs on the way, Christy is such a good person *nobody* deserves what
she's going through.

Purrs for Kili. She has a long road ahead of her and I can't even
express my admiration and respect for her at her courage.
I hope she serves as a role model for some of us who don't realize how
fortunate we are.

I had a very serious discussion with Sam last night and explained to him

all that Christy is about to go through. He is sending his very best,
post-operative, been there, done that, rib resection and thoracic
reconstruction purrs. He said he is going to be the head purrleader of
our household where Christy is concerned and I'm sure he'll get lots of
rumbly purrs headed her way.

realize how extensive the surgery will be.

We're sending the strongest purrs possible. Is Christy in the holiday

I think she asked to be on the Receive list. For obvious reasons she won't
be mailing any cards this year.
