I need to vacuum....

Aww. I fired my cleaner, so now I will have to do my own cleaning for a
while again. Wow, I haven't vacuumed for a year. I know the cats are
afraid of the vacuum, though, because once I took it out to clean its
filters, and when I was finished I realised the cats had disappeared. I
eventually found them both under the covers in the bed.

Snoopy decided to go for a walk round the garden, so I vacuumed while she
was out. :-)

I pull out the vacuum and Chloe and Pua vanish, but Tyrone follows me
around, giving gentle sniffs to the loud machine. I don't think anything
scares him.

Oh, what a great excuse not to vacuum. Now, we need to come up with a way
to avoid doing the dishes. Even a dishwasher has to be loaded and unloaded,
you know. I know! Duffy gets up on the dishwasher door almost every time I
open it and I have to prevent him from getting inside. (That's actually
true.) ;o)

Whenever I try to make the bed, somebody - often Smudge, if she's in -
jumps up onto the covers, making it impossible to pull them up and tuck
them in neatly. And every time I go to fold the clean laundry, someone's
asleep in the basket, looking too adorable to move.

At this rate, I think we can pretty much eliminate all household chores!
(Except grocery shopping for cat food, of course.)

LOL You know, I don't mind loading the dishwasher. But for some reason I
have this inexplicable *dread* when it comes to unloading it. I've never
been able to figure that one out, which is why my sink and counters are
frequently covered with dishes that need to be washed. I didn't used to be
like this. I even used to wash up everything as I went along while I was
cooking. Now I just don't give a darn.
