CATherine...
Has anybody heard how Rusty did on his dental?

Winnie...
Thanks for asking and sorry I didn't post an update.

Rusty had 2 teeth extracted at the vet. He was hissy mad when I went to
pick him up aftewards.
He bared his fangs and tried to lunge at the vet tech when she went to
take him out of the cage
into his carrier. I never saw him like that before, and was afraid to
touch him. Talking to him didn't help. The tech used a towel to slowly
nudge him into the carrier. He growled like an upset tiger and ignored
the vet's cat Chico who is his pal. He probably was hungry too as he
had an early supper the night before and no breakfast. They also took
blood from his neck area for tests to make sure he was healthy enough
for the operation. He always hate the blood drawing. But he was fine
once we got home and back to his usual self.

CATherine...
Poor thing! His mouth must be sore. Maybe he is like some people with
sensitive teeth (like me). Thanks for letting us know how he did.
Purrs that he doesn't have any more teeth problems.

Winnie...

Karen...
Oh I am glad to hear he did well. My that wild thing doesn't sound like
Rusty at all!! Poor guy.

polonca12000...
I'm glad to hear all was well in the end.
PUrrs and best wishes,
Polonca and Soncek
Thanks for the purrs. Rusty needs them. The vet did warn me to keep
watch on his teeth. Said the same thing can happen to his other teeth.
Just hope he doesn't become a toothless tiger.
