New kitty, well sort of...

Back last May, Muddy was definitely starting to look at bit down, his
coat wasn't great and he just spent most of his time sleeping. So of to the vet he went, the vet found two problems, he needed two of his teeth extracted and his blood work was borderline for diabetic. The vet was a bit wary of doing the work on his teeth because he's 12 years old and wasn't in great shape, but we went ahead anyway and he made it through. Well, to cut a long story short, as soon as the two rotten teath were gone he started eating like a horse and the second set of bloodwork was fine. Since then he's put on about 3 pounds, his coat is glossy and I know he's feeling better because he's back to defending his territory. He came in yesterday with a walk that can only be described as a satisfied swagger, he plonked himself down on my lap and proceeded to pull tufts of white fur out from between his claws :-) Mark Edwards...
