OT: Wish Gertie luck...

For the last week or so I have been trying to source a friendly rescue
ferret to keep Gertie company. So far, we've located 12 at the local
RSPCA centre and one in an independent no-kill rescue.

This weekend, I'm going to pick a new playmate for Gertie ferret....

Wish me luck, and pray I don't end up coming home with another pet. Last
time I went to the pound looking for a cat who had gone missing I came
home with a dog. (Bonnie). The cat (Thomasina) turned up as I got home
with Bonnie....

I went to the vet to pick up meds for Luthien.
I came home with Muezza.Glorio.
Turned out to be good medicine!

Don't complain. Thomasina thought you needed Bonnie and Bonnie needed
you. And she was right. I'm sure Gertie will enjoy having another
ferret about and whatever OTHER pet you bring home will be fine also.

Best of luck! Ferrets do seem to do better having other ferrets to play
with; they like to rough and tumble and then pile up in a mess and sleep :)
