dberry...
A few months ago I bought a new couch and chair. There have been some
complaints from the kitties because the old couch had a skirt and the
new one is
open underneath. Hiding places have been rearranged. The old couch

Karen AKA Kajikit...
Awwies... the girls each have their own special places to sleep too.
Silver comes onto the bed during the night and when I wake up in the
morning she's lying stretched along my legs somewhere between ankle
and hip. Scouty isn't brave enough to jump up onto the bed when daddy
is there so she doesn't spend the night with us both, but if it's just
me taking a nap, she'll jump up and cuddle up under my armpit so that
I drape my hand along her tummy... sometimes I sleep out on the couch
if John's snoring is bothering me too much, and Scouty's found a
favourite place there too - she nestles down by my ankles, and if I'm
NOT on the couch then she'll curl up in the same spot and sleep on my
blanky (I leave it folded out there because if I put it away it's
inevitable that I'll want it that very night!) The other girls nap on
the blanky during the daytime, but at night it's Scouty's... I'm sure
they like it because it's warm and fluffy and smells like meowmie :)

Tessie prefers to sleep alone, preferably on her pillow next to the
bathroom door, where she's in optimal position to wake up and perform
bathroom escort duty as needed!

was kind
of lumpy to nap on any way but face up. This new one is very comfy.
I've taken
to napping laying on my right side, facing the couch back, with my
knees bent.
Three of my kitties like to spoon in the triangle between my hips and
the back
of the couch. Sabrina likes to curl in a ball with her nose tucked in
the blanket,
or stretch all the way out and lay tummy to tummy with me. Anna loves
laying
with me and if she wants some spooning time, she will paw at me until I
move
over and give her more room. She likes to sleep on her right side
facing the couch back too. Daisy wants to spoon too, but it takes her
so
long to get in the right position that my 20 min power nap is almost
over by
the time she is settled. Patty took over the soft blanket that now
resides
on the new chair. Patience prefers the far end of the new couch...or
the dining
room table. A place for everyone in my house :-).
