Waffles improves

I'm very glad to hear that!!! :)

Today is a sunny, bright but cold day. Nevertheless, Queen Of All She
Surveys has been demanding to be Inna Owt.

This morning she went out into the garden, sat in the middle of the lawn and
sniffed the air with whiskers splayed and ears up. If ever a cat looked
*happy* it's Waffles.

Anyhow, a few minutes later I'm wandering by the dining room and looking out
into the garden I see Waffles trotting across the grass back towards the
house, tail held high and jaws firmly clamped around a wriggling vole.

Not bad for a one-eyed old lady who is minus several fangs.

I opened the door and in she popped, duly depositing the wriggling vole at
my feet.

Vole is now recovering in the rescue box, feasting on seeds, grapes &
lettuce.

I'm so glad to hear she is obviously feeling much better. Boyfriend is in
awe at her hunting prowess.
Although he's not doing too badly himself.

Oh I'm sure of it. Whilst the accommodation may be five-star, it's a bit
lonely and there's the concentrated scent of felines!
