The vet rang me today about the latest ringworm test. The sample had
become contaminated so they couldn't determine whether there was any
ringworm left! I have to take them in again, but at least it
won't cost me anything. Apparently there's no lab in Finland that can do
these tests (ringworm seems to be a vey new thing here), so they have to
send the samples to a lab in the UK. This is why it takes such a long
time, and I suppose it can become contaminated more easily when it has
to be sent so far away.

The lab is in Weybridge, the town where I was born, I used to pass it often.

I opened the post to expect to read that they still had ringworm. Thank
goodness that's not the case though it must be very frustrating to have to
wait, wait, wait, transport to TED's again, and then wait, wait, wait some
more to find out once and for all.

Yes, the waiting is the worst part.
