From the vet when he first saw Harry, I learned he had mouth ulcars and
abscessed teeth. A shot of cortisone and antibiotics got him going,
despite vet later revealing he didn't expect him to last another 2
days. Yesterday he had 3 teeth pulled, and just 3 hours later he was
standing in his cage; when he got home you wouldn't know anything had
gone on, he was hungry as usual but inh my lap after attention; no
wobbly legs, no hiding, all I can figure is he's been in pain so long,

Poor Harry, lots of purrs for him. It's amazing how they can hide their
pain.

what's new?

CATherine...
The pain and infection can nullify the anesthesia to an extent. But
extraction pain afters is nothing to the abcess pain he has been
under. Getting rid of that infection will see him making leaps and
bounds toward helath and well-being. Purrs for a loving little boy.

5 teeth out. The only reason they kept him is they weren't sure he was
enough recovered frm the anesthesia to go home, but he was so mellow
the third day they figured he was in shut down mode. I was supposed to
keep him on soft baby food for a few days but he was SO hungry. He
didn't act like his mouth hurt him at all and he never had trouble with
his gums after his teeth were pulled. This will be very good for Harry
in the long run.

Sending good health purrs for Harry. Bad teeth can really hurt. Best
wishes. MLB

Poor Harry! I'm glad he's had treatment, and I'm sure he'll feel a lot
better soon. Purrs for a quick recovery (though it sounds like he's already
had that!)
