Annie Wxill...
Here we are in Wilmington, N.C. (U;S.A.) with Pam S. and Rob onboard
Genesis. Cinder has shown her approval of the catnip snakes Pam made for
her and Rosie. While Cinder is 'nipped out, Rosie has reserved her
comments.
Pam says Julie is right that we should take a lot of time to visit. We've
been at it all day and Pam and Rob are spending the night, so no telling
what we'll be able to report by tomorrow morning.

Takayuki...
That sounds great. If I did this I would get motion sick, but I hope
Pam and Rob are all right. :)

Annie Wxill...
Hi Tak,
We are tied to a dock. We aren't entirely still, but we are relatively so.
Pam and Rob are fine.
I'm sure you would be, too. I don't know how close we'll be, but we will be
headed your direction next spring.
You would be welcome to come check us out.
Annie, crew for Rosie & Cinder

tanada...
Tak, we were in the harbor and not only did I not get motion sick, I was
rocked to sleep by the gentle motion of the boat. Not only was it peaceful,
but I didn't need to read to relax. You really should try it sometime.
Nice.

Pam S.

A pelican provided an event Pam and I found amusing when it flew overhead
and decorated Jim & Rob, who were standing on the deck. After hosing off
their respective heads and clothes, they came under cover and sat in the
wind to dry off

Pam here. we're having a good time here getting to know Annie, Jim, and the
owners. cinders has been making herself known to us, but Rosie has been
hiding out in our future sleeping place in the bow of the boat. The
cruising family has outdid themselves in making us welcome and we are
talking a mile a minute. I'll write more when I get my seat back on dry
land. I'd wish you were here, but there wouldn't be enough room for the
rest of us,

Jo Firey...
Is it normal to be quite this thrilled to hear other people are having a
good time?

Annie Wxill...
Speaking for myself, I've never claimed to be normal. I don't think Pam
has, either, but she can speak for herself. I suspect that most people on
this group take more than a little pride in not being normal. This is one
thing I love about this group.

tanada...
HAH! I've never been normal, you can just ask my family. Oops, maybe you
better as Rob's family, they're more normal than mine is. We had a great
time, and Rob says that my cat friends are his kind of people.

Pam S.

Some of my favorite people I've never met, meeting is one of my favorite
parts of the world.

Annie Wxill...
Well, Jo, you never can tell. Someday we may catch up to you, too. I hope
so.

Blessings, good wishes, purrs, and more than a little envy winging your way.

Annie Wxill...
Thank you for your kind thoughts.

Victor Martinez...
Oh man, I'm so jealous! I'd even happily (?) clean up pelican poop... :)

Victor, taking a break from folding clothes. Shhhh... dont' tell Tom.

Marina...
It all sounds wonderful. When are you going to sail around the world so
I can meet you? ;o)

Annie Wxill...
Hi Marina,
If we sail far enough to meet you, it will be on a huge cruise ship. More
likely, it would be by plane. I'd love to see your island, too, and the
cats, of course.

And, you are welcome to come to the U.S.

Annie, crew for Cinder and Rosie

Adrian A...
I'm envious, I want to meat someone else from the group.

Adrian A...
I shouldn't post when I'm hungry. ;-)

Tish...
I'm a lamb chop (with a nod to BBC children's TV) and DH says he's
"the other white meat" and says he can no longer lay claim to being
fresh meat. LOL

Julie Cook...
I just knew the four of you would hit it off. I could have spent hours
visiting with Annie and Jim when we met. We had so much to talk about and it
felt like we'd known each other forever. Although I've never met Pam and
Rob, whenever I call Pam I settle in for an hour long conversation because
we always have something to talk about. I was pretty sure that she would
feel the same way about Annie and Jim that I did and add to that Jim and Rob
having helicopter experience....well...I suspect Rosie and Cinders will be
the only ones sleeping tonight.

I finally found my camera charger and even found the USB cable to connect
the camera to the computer so I have uploaded the picture that we had made
when Annie and Jim were visiting. We met for lunch at a Greek restaurant
nearby, which hopefully explains the statue and the flags. The picture can
be found with Lacey's pelican picture from the 2004 Mouser voyage. Surely
she wasn't involved in the 'pooping' of Jim and Rob! The picture can be

tanada...
You can tell who Jim is, he had a big grin through everything, including the
pelican. That man would probably be grinning while putting out a forest
fire. They're both incredible people. Can you tell both Rob and I like
them?

Great picture. Nice to put faces to names. And yes the statue with flags
is better with explanation.
