I was on the phone with kili yesterday evening and she heard Persia
interrupt me to say, "Meow-ma?" She laughed and said "OMG! I heard her say
that!"
John doesn't believe me when I tell him Persia talks, but he's heard her
just like kili heard her. He is in denial. :)
She does talk, and she's breaking the 'cat code' by letting us know she can
talk. Sometimes she talks and says (after Meow-ma) "mmmover ere!" when she
wants to show me something. (smile)
I truly believe cats are an alien race sent here to gather intelligence and
cat food... chicken, fish, ham, potatoes, crackers, cheese, chips and
crackers. ;).
No, I'm not paranoid. We are being watched by cats. They check out our
food to make sure there are no transmitters there. And some of them tap you
on the nose to make sure you don't have a transmitter there, too. :D
Persia likes to tap me on the nose and also my cheek and forehead. What a
cute feeling to be touched by a soft little paw! Be afraid, be very afraid!
I believe she's transmitting information to the Mothership. She also rolls
around on her crackle-sack to disguise her transmissions! It's disguised as
cuteness :) I rub her tummy and she rolls around and gets belly rubs and
meanwhile, she's transmitting the contents of the refrigerator...

That's why they hang out around Rob. those titanic plates in his head
make radio transmissions easier for them. I'd worry about it, but I get
to have my cats and Robert too.

Hey, it could happen. LOL

I believe it! Rhett, who isn't normally talkative unless he's talking
to Bonnie, was hollaring at me yesterday while I was trying to sleep
in. I've been out of work this week, so slept in. He was clearly
agitated, which isn't like him. When I finally got up to go to the
bathroom, he and Scarlett were already in there; Scarlett on the seat
and Rhett on the floor meowing at it. It had been running on since
the last flush. I'll never ignore him acting that way again. He'd
been trying to tell me something was wrong.

Well, you should see it around here when I'm on the phone. When the
phone rings, there's a stampede to get to it. But do either of them
answer it? Of course not! And while I'm talking, I would swear I

Roxy used to try to answer the phone. When it rang and I picked it up
in my office, she would be in the living room, sniffing at the extension
in there, and then pawing at it. Suddenly I would hear a click and some
other noises, and the party on the other end would ask what that was. I
would say, "Oh, it's just Roxy, picking up the extension to listen in."

have a roomful of three year olds. It's like they are trying
everything I can think of to get my attention from forcibly pushing
their heads under my hands to yelling into the phone (yes they do!),
and picking fights with each other. It's an amazing display.

And when you hang up, do they amble off like you're the last person
they want to see? :)
