The fish are bigger than the cats! It's too funny what they will do to get
a fish!

Victor Martinez...
This one?

jmcquown...
Yep. Notice they laid the first one out on a mat with ice, like it was
sushi or something :) As time goes by, it's just a bigger fish. Those cats
don't care about the presentation!

Cheryl...
This just was amazing! I wonder why they spent so much time and
expense (ok, raw fish, not that expensive I don't think, even in
Japan) but it made me wonder if they got the idea because feral cats
are stealing the catch of the local fishermen? Still interesting to
see them try to carry them off. You see the wild in the cats when
they act this way.

Takayuki...
Actually, one of the funny things was how they were working up to using
the finest and most expensive fish. They started out with about a 50
cent fish, and one of the fish they used was a $60 tropical rock fish
of some sort. They list the price of each fish just before they weigh
it.

What I thought was cute as how some of the cats in the beginning pawed
at the fish, as though they were unsure that they could really take it?
Also funny was the ear-swivley cat that complained when the large
white tom came up behind him and took his fish away.

Can cats actually eat that much fish??

Thanks Jill for the heads-up about the video, and Victor, for the link.

It's truly funny! I keep watching it over and over again. I noticed the
tapping with the paws thing, too, like, is this fish going to run away if we
try to take it? It's just too cute for words. I hope they didn't tease the
cats unmercifically by giving them some fish (and MORE fish!) and then stop
feeding them. The white cat is rather fluffy so I get the feeling they get
fed regularly :)
