Canine visit

The funniest thing happened earlier. I was outside putting
out these sandstone mushrooms we have. Suddenly there was this
blind guy on the driveway and he was trying to raise funds for the
blind.
I was talking to him when suddenly this big huge bulldog came up and
ran in the front door!
The blind guy said it wasn't his dog, it had been following him from
house to house and he left. So I went in and tried to get this dog out
but
he just kept running from room to room, checking everything out and
panting. He was a very macho looking dog, all muscle but with a goofy
smile on his face.
I wasn't too sure if I should grab his collar or if he would bite or
what.
I don't know much about dogs.
So he ran to the laundry room and I opened the door and he went out in
the yard. Now I had to get him out of the yard into the front again.
So I opened the gate and he went out. But then he just ran right back
in the front door which was still open! Aargh! So I had to follow
him in again and call him. Eventually he responded to my fake excited
calls and followed me out the front door and I quickly shut it. He
saw the blind guy a few houses down and went running over to him.
Whew! It's a good thing Vino wasn't here when this happened, I don't
think it would have gone over too well!

That would definitely be an odd experience! I've never had a strange
dog wander into my house, although when I was a teen we had dogs
wander into our yard (we used an invisible fence to keep my dog in).
