I finally did it!
Put the postage stamp on the *FINAL PAYMENT* for the Land Rover. Will go
out with all the greeting cards tomorrow (hope it doesn't get lost!!!).

I normally use online banking, but since this is a special occasion (!!!!!),
and I wanted to write *PAID IN FULL* on the payment slip, and *FINAL
PAYMENT* on the check, I am actually mailing it in!

Yay! That *is* something to celebrate. Some people even have a
mortage-burning ceremony when their homes are paid for.
One of the perks to being middle-aged is being debt free. Youth is
great, but security is better. :-)

LOL except you really don't want to burn the title to your car! If MMJ had
a payment booklet (odd, I didn't get one with my last car) she could burn
that and let the kitties gather round the warmth of the fire ;)

No payment booklet - they sent monthly "statements" (and there is a huge
smiley face written on the portion that I kept for our files) - and so does
our mortgage company..... even though we were lucky to get a *fixed*
interest rate and the only changes in the payment amount are due to property
taxes and insurance rate changes.
