I glanced through posts. Too many to read everything! Purrs and hugs
for everyone who needs them. The trip was looooooooong. Got a call on
my way there. My nephew was in an accident and my mom and his mother
and my sister SAW it!!!! He's ok but it was pretty bad and his car is
totaled. Mom got dizzy from shock. Ugh. Saw a TERRIBLE accident on the
way back on the hiway. Car pulling a Uhaul flipped and boy, it didn't
look good :( But the rest of the trip went well. The girls were good
for the pet sitter. He loves Pearl (she is such a suck up) but Sugar
even began eating in her normal spot for him the last two days! So I
have a new pettsitter that I can call and eel comfortable with. Must
continue to catchup now. Thank you for all the purrs. I think they
saved us from some bad things!

Glad you're back! Did your mom have a good birthday? And isn't it
*great* knowing that you have a good pet sitter in the wings now?
I'm sorry your mom had to see the wreck though. I totaled my first car
in front of my parents. I didn't understand completely until I was a
parent how horrible that must have been.

The party went very well. We had food coming out our ears though! It
was overall very good except the driving part!

Welcome back Karen! I too am going to visit my mother next month. But
Rusty is going
to stay at the vet. Haven't found a reliable cat-sitter. My neighbour
used to cat-sit for me.
But she won't do it anymore after Rusty's urinary blockages. She is
concerned about
medical emergency. I should also start planning a birthday party for my
mother's 85th next year.

Welcome back! I'm glad your nephew is not hurt. It's nice to have a
pet-sitter you can trust.
Best wishes,

Sorry to hear about all the trauma. Great, though, that the girls had
a decent time, too! A good petsitter is worth the weight in gold --
well, almost!

Welcome home, Karen. What a nasty shock that must have been for your
family! Glad to hear your nephew is OK, though. And glad that the
petsitter turned out to be so good with the girls.
