Finally found what I was looking for

Since Frank died, and Baha gave me the tip about her friend who carried
a vial of his mother's ashes around his neck, I've been searching for a
suitable vessel to put the remains of Frank's ashes in (I saved a little
bit that I didn't scatter on the island). I finally found it, and it
really makes sense now that I thought of it. I couldn't find another
pendant that would hold the ashes, and I felt that those scent pendants
were too large.
I had to ask at several stores, but then I found a pet shop that carried
them - those little pendants for cats and dogs in which you can put a
piece of paper with your contact info on. I bought one, and got a chain
for it from another shop. I will have to look for a shorter but thicker
chain at some point. I had a little ceremony yesterday where I poured
some of Frank's ashes into the pendant and hung it about my neck.

That's wonderful. I'm really glad you can keep Frank close to you now.
I'd love to see a picture of the pendant (hint, hint).

It's very plain, just a silver cylinder where the top screws off. I
removed the little slip of paper for contact details. I don't know why
the pic came out so fuzzy, but you'll get an idea:

Oh, perfect! And that's the kind of thing you could slip onto a chain
along with other things, if you wanted to have a combination, or wear
it as a charm. (I don't know if you do, but it would work if you did,
because it's small and subtle.)

D*mn Yahoo and their unmanageable links. Here's the tinyurl:

I don't see anything wrong with it. It's a nice looking small pendant.
You could wear in on a chain around your neck so Frank could stay
(literally) close to your heart.

Thank you, Sam. That is how I'm wearing it.

I don't know, maybe this sounds morbid to some, but this pendant really
makes me very happy. I'll never be apart from my darling Frank again. I
wish I had saved some of Nikki's ashes.

I think it's sweet. Next summer you can put a little bit of the soil
where you spread Nikki's ashes into the pendant.
