CatNipped...
I took off today - yesterday was my first day working without my arm brace**
and my arm is swollen to twice its size and throbbing, so I just couldn't
stand another day of pounding the keyboard. I have to leave the brace off
so I don't get any more atrophy in my arm (you wouldn't believe how much
those muscles have shrunk) - and to get some movement back again, but
ohmygawd this hurts!

Anyway, this gave me a chance to snap some pics of my two youngest...

Enfilade...
Jessie is so tiny next to Sammy! Can Sammy even fit through that cat
door?

CatNipped...
Barely! It's a tight squeeze. ;>

** SHEESH - 7 weeks of a hard cast then 2 weeks of a "splint" (an elastic
covering for the hand and arm with a metal brace on the underside)!

jmcquown...
Love them! Bandit's snoozing pictures are also great :)

Kreisleriana...
How great to see those two clowns!!!

How is Bandit and her eyesight doing?

CatNipped...
Bandit is *totally* blind, but that hasn't effected her domination of the
universe! It'sboth sad and funny to see her hissing and swiping at thin air

Enfilade...
I am glad that Bandit is still not taking any guff from anyone, and not
lifting her head if she doesn't FRIGGING FEEL LIKE IT!

That ramp is wonderful. I'm sure it means a lot to Bandit that she
doesn't have to admit weakness or be denied her snoozing spots.

when she thinks someone is getting in her face. She still likes to play (if
you can call mauling my hands while I make the bed "play"), has a fantastic
appetite, can still find her litterbox, and purrs up a storm when getting
skritching (or even just having any part of her body touching any part of
mine).

So.... I created a carpeted ramp that lets her walk up and down on and off
my bed and she seems perfectly content with her life. Here are some
pictures I took of her this morning - I wasn't going to post them since she
couldn't be bothered to look up from her snooze (I didn't make my bed this
morning because I was going to get back into it, but she confiscated my
pillow) - but since you asked! ;> There's also a picture of the ram I
created (my bed is really high and the ramps they sell aren't high enough -
with her being link I didn't want her to have to take a "leap of faith" but
be able to feel the ramp from the bed, plus she has arthritis and I didn't
want her jarring her old bones (she's 16.5 yo now) by jumping down.

Hugs,

CatNipped
