[OT] Desperate Housewives and Greys Anatomy

This is probably US-centric, since I don't know if these shows are
currently on in other countries.

Anyway, I watch them religiously every Sunday. Except yesterday. A
friend invited me to dinner and visit for the evening, and being alone
right now, I needed some social interaction, so I went. And had a
lovely time. But I missed my shows.

Anyone watch them and want to give me a synopsis of what happened?
Would be most appreciative.

Sorry, West Wing was airing its final episode(s) and there
was NO WAY I'd miss that! (Only thing I watch on ABC is
"Commander in Chief", and that's been pre-empted the past

I watched 2 episodes of Law and Order Criminal Intent last night.
Never watched the other shows mentioned here.
The season is soon over and there won't be much to watch
except reruns on TV.

I watch both, but being in the UK I assume we're several weeks behind you.
The last episode of Desperate Housewifes shown here was, Series 2, Episode
17 and Grey's Anatomy, Series 1, Episode 6. I haven't watched either yet, I
record them to hard disc then remove the commercials before I watch them.
