The Pitbull thing again

Can anyone remind me (or give me a link) of what pitbull and bull terrier
breeds are in the USA.

I doubt it, since many bull breeds, including American Pit Bulle
Terriers, aren't AKC registered.

Alison - there are a lot of breed types out there. Bull breeds not
registered with AKC may be American Bulldogs, Some other "blue blood"
bulldogs, all sorts of things. searching the web may be your best bet.

Since the AKC doesn't recognize *many* U.S. breeds, including the American
Pit Bull Terrier aka "Pit Bull", it's not a particularly useful site to
recommend.

The UKC (which has been around nearly as long as the AKC, and has
traditionlly recognized many of the working-class U.S. breeds that the AKC
doesn't or didn't) is a better, although also not complete, source:
