montana wildhack...
I thought Day 21 was going to be the day when everything "turned on."
Perhaps it was supposed to be 21 days after the puppies were born,
which would make the big day today.

I noticed a difference in one of the puppies earlier today, but when I
came home and after a puppy lunch, it was like we had five different
puppies in the crate. And they are trying to scale the barrier. And
they're figuring out how to do it.

They can sit. They want to explore. They're loud as all get out. They
are very aware of each other and they are licking each other, crawling
all over each other, etc.

And I think that life, as we know it, is over!

DH is down with a sinus headache, so he didn't build the new pen. We're
running out of time!

Tara...
Ok. This has gone from Cute Baby Puppy Thread to an exerpt from Day Of The
Triffids overnight.

I feel your pain.

Ok, I don't really, but I'm over tired and can at least extrapolate that to
what I imagine your pain to be.

montana wildhack...
We're all tired... and the sinus thing is not welcome.

I called DH into the office this evening to get a big dose of puppies.
He was also entranced that the puppies come to the edge of the crate
when you make noise and they seem to enjoy being petted. They are
exploring each other and the box.

Then I asked him to feel inside their little mouths. Where the little
tooth bumps can be felt.

The pen will be built tomorrow.

diddy...
are they eating? How is the housebreaking going?

montana wildhack...
Mom is still nursing them and cleaning them VERY frequently. They will
take a little food, but they're getting so much from mom that they
aren't too interested or motivated, yet.
