Jack Russell and in house accidents

We have a seven month old Jack Russell Terrier. She still relieves
herself inside. Usually, it's by the front door, so we know that she
knows the general area to go to, but she'll also go just about anywhere
and we'll find surprises all over the house.

If she's having accidents all over the house, you can't let her have
access to all over the house. She need to be confined to whatever
room a person is in.

We have tried:
Taking her out every hour (if she doesn't go, take her out every five
minutes until she does).

Where is she in between? Are her meals scheduled? Is she allowed
free water (recommended)?

Tethering her to us (that wouldn't work...she would just go wherever
she was tethered).

And what did you DO when that happened?

Kennelling (goes in her kennel - even though it's relatively small).

What kind of kennel? Where did you get her?

For the last week, we've been sticking her nose in her accidents - we
know it shouldn't be done, but my wife had two dogs growing up that
never had these problems and that's how they were taught, so as a
desperate last resort, that's what we're trying.

Unfortunately, it's not a reasonable approach and you're just making
the whole thing repulsive.

We're incredibly frustrated and don't know what else to do. She's been
checked out fine at the vet, so there isn't anything medically wrong
with her.

How are you positive about that? I have a 10 month old puppy that
suffered from some incontinence. Medication has stopped it
completely. Is your puppy spayed? If so, at what age?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
