my 5mth old rotti puppy is eating everything in my house...help

generally my puppy is very well behaved, that is until we go to work. she
has chewed holes in my carpet, but there is no mess, so i know she it
swallowing it. she has chewed at least 15 pairs of shoes, again no mess
left behind, floor tile, wood, dirt, anything that goes in her mouth she
swallows. she has been wormed, she gets fed lots,has all the best toys,
lots of love and attention, she is my baby, and i love her but don't know
what to do. please help thanks deb

She is apuppy that doesn't know that she is not supposed to be chewing
those things. The way babies explore things with their hands (and then put
them in their mouths) your puppy explores things with her nose and mouth
only. If you want to keep her safe, you have a couple of options, either
put her in a crate or put her in a room that is completely empty of
everything, including carpet.
As the owner and human in the relationship, it is your responsability to
make sure your pup is safe, that includes takingthings away from her that
might harm her. Mogli looooves his tennis balls, but we can't let him have
them because he strips the fuzz off the outside and swallows it. Doing that
runs a real risk of causing serious intestinal problems. The same goes for
your pup and the carpet/shoes/whatever she is eating.
