Remember Avrama?

For those of you who remember Avrama, with her Dobe Baruch. She
apparently was diagnosed with cancer very recently, and died a few
days ago.

It came to me as I was typing. I rarely forget dog names ;-D

I believe she was in her mid-60's. I recall from some other posts
that she was a rather large woman as well. Apparently she broke a hip
and that's when the cancer was found.

That's too bad. Mid-60s gets younger all the time. Was she on other
groups you were on? She seemed to have disappeared from here.

Yes. She was on a trainer list and hadn't posted there in several
months either.

Oh boy. Avrama. Does that bring back memories of the old, old days.
Avrama was always an interesting and compelling person. I didn't agree
with everything she said or did by any means, and I hadn't heard from
her in years after I signed off of doberworld-l. But she was truly a
committed person to the breed and to education. I'm sorry to hear this
and I hope if she still had Baruch that he finds a good home.

So if you never met her, how did you know that she passed away?
Amazing what you learn about people you never met.
I'm sorry she died, and assuming the hip broke because of Bone cancer, it's
not a good way to go :(
The internet is so liquid (not the word I'm looking for) with people
coming, going, that people can actually disappear, and usually people never
ask, and no one ever knows what happened to them.
