with a group of students and we are gathering information from dog
owners, in an effort to create a product that would help dog owners
deal with the problem of dogs chewing on their beds. Please take a

What are positive and negative features of your current dog bed?

Positive: comfortable. Negative: Duke hogs the center.

The cover can be removed and washed. It is strong. I can vac it to remove
dog hair. I can take take it with me when I travel. It is not huge and
bulky. There are no negative features.
How often do you buy a new bed?

The lab likes it. The others don't care.

and phone cords.

them to him when he politely asks, and he has stopped chewing on other

likes the taste, and they are as close to the cat/chew toy (Photon) as he
can get :)

His nylon bone is on his downstairs dog bed. I keep the bag of rawhide
chews on a table or pantry shelf. He does not get them on his own, although
he could if he wanted to.

to switch off and on with to change it up!) and in a rubbermaid container
(again, extras to rotate in and out for varied play)

foam rubber pad covered with nylon cloth.

2 fleece, 1 soft terry and 1 orthopedic squishy one BUT they sleep in my bed
every night (they use the others in the crate or to rest throughout the
house)

one downstairs gets full of fur but is more comfy and quieter.

We got the dog beds when we got rid of the carpeting. They are in the
living room and the dogs use them when the couch is already occupied.
At night they sleep in bed with me.
