My dog Joe that I loves so much died last night. Someone ran him over
and left the scene.

Sabina, I am so sorry that you lost Joe and your mother got hurt.
I've seen the pictures you have posted of you and Joe and he was a very
cute little guy and I could see that you loved him very much. Please be
kind to yourself while you go through the grieving process and don't be
afraid to ask for help if it get overwhelming. I'm sure many people here
would be happy to talk with you about it, if you feel the need, and so
would I. And I'm sure you have people in your life that have big shoulders
too. Don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it. Again, I am so very
sorry.

Joe was one of the family. I do not want to go through this again. My
landlord said that we can have another dog. I just want the driver to
pay for what they did to Joe and my mother.

I was crying last night. I am just hoping that they can catch the
person. I want justice for my dog now that the police are involved. The
driver did not stop.

I will pray for your mother's quick recovery.
Like other people suggested, please ask for counseling at the hospital where
she is, if you are having a difficult time.

So your mother was walking the dog? I wondered why the police were
involved. Here, if the police get involved in a dog hit by car, it's to
cite the owner for having the dog running at large. How awful..

My dog was on a leash. He is dead. My mother badly injured she needs
surgery to fixe her ribs. It is not my mothers fault the driver of the
car did not stop.

I know this, and I'm so sorry. I just can't imagine how angry you must be
feeling. Your mother is outrageously run down, and you lost your
puppy, that you would have expected to have for at LEAST another 7
years,and it's gone.
I hope you get justice, because even then, I doubt you will find
inner peace.

Joe did not deserve to die. He awlays kissed me on the face when I was
out of the shower that is thing I am going to miss most about him.

I visted her today she was not doing so well. I was scared and I drove
by the park that I took Joe and I felt like crying. I broke my heart
looking at my mother conntected to a oxygyen machine. The person that
ran the stop sign dragged my dog and my mother and I am so sure that
police are going catch the person responsible for this. My mother is
going to be having a pacemaker installed. She cannot smoke anymore.

It sounds like she is getting great care. I will continue to pray for her.
Please don't forget to take care of yourself.

When Finn died (and it was far from a surprise) I cried for *days*. I'd be
walking down the street, spot a favorite spot of his, or a place where he
made me laugh, and just burst into tears right there.
The people that didn't know me must have thought I was nuts. But all the dog
owners in the neighborhood knew him, knew me and totally understood how I
felt.

I am sad to hear that Joe died.
My condolences to you.
For the unbearable loss of Joe.
Crying is helpful to assist in your grieving.
It releases the sadness so that
You will not be overwhelmed by it.
Suppressing tears is harmful.
It causes stress.
It is best to cry in private.
Or with friends and family.
