Well, I passed the Agility Association of Canada masters judging
requirements, so I'll now get to design and judge really cool
(and perhaps difficult) agility courses.

Congrats, that's exciting!

Congrats Matt!! That is really cool.

The downside is that I'll probably have to travel more widely
than I did as an advanced judge, leaving my dogs behind. We get

the gout, too, hopefully.

into the sport for our dogs and then we leave our dogs behind
for the sport. It's time to search out a new balance.

Congratulations and condolences, Matt. Let me know next time you're in
town: even if I don't run one of your courses, I'd love to see one.

alas, many occupations/hobbies are like that.

That stinks, hopefully you'll figure something out.

Hah, OK - "'One' gets into the sport..."
My point (one of them, anyway) was that it's way too easy to
forget why we started into something. I love running my dogs.
I also love watching other dogs run. It's cool to watch
different handling styles and different strategies.
It's also a lot of brain-numbing fun to design courses which
will work for a wide range of dogs and handlers (I leave
handling room for wheelchairs, for example) and then to see how
it all plays out.
Then, all of a sudden, we're jetting around to Moosejaw, Thunder
Bay, and Spuzum. How could one *not* get a big head?

Still, good for you on making your goal.

One goal anyway. Thank you.
