Astral Voyager...
Purely a speculative message in the hope that the right eyes may see it.

I am hoping to find relatives/descendants of Colin Warwick, born c1904 in
Bolton, Lancashire, England.

Son of Colin Warwick born 1881 and Sarah Ann Edgington born 1882, both of
Bolton again.

Believed married a Hilda Sixsmith and with children Doreen, Madge, Lilian

Astral Voyager...
Too early to be directly connected to my Colin Warwick who was not born
until c1904. No telling if one of his ancestors also made the trip though.

Don't you have a place called Warwick in Queensland? Is there any cases of
development of surname from place as in early English. E.g. John from the
town of Warwick was known as John of Warwick which eventually became just
John Warwick. Or by the time of the movement of whites into Australia were
surnames pretty well set?

and John.

I am told Colin and at least some of his family went to Australia on
retirement but have no proof of that or any idea where they went to (I am
led to understand Australia is a reasonably big place).

If any of the above sounds familiar to anyone I would be delighted to hear
from you.

If not then any suggestions on where I might look for immigration records or
any other pointers would be appreciated.
