Collins Book store poss WWII

I am looking at a photo of "Dick Murphy, Navy" and cant find his connection
to my family, although we did have some Murphy's a few generations back.

His uniform cld be WWI or WWII. Dark coat, tie, white shirt, Ensigns hat
with white top, dark brim, anchor emblem on front.

He is standing in front of a Collins Books store - would that be Melbourne
or Sydney? There is another smaller sign, rather blurry, looks like

From time to time I have spied a .co.nz or a btinternet
addy but have replied as though the person lives in AUS
............ revenge :-))

Its an imperect world as then you get the complete
opposite listing full snail addy, phone and fax #
.............. which is overkill
