Photos from slides

Quite some time ago I saw where someone posted instructions on how to print
photos off slides. At the time I did not save the instructions as I had no
need. However I have now acquired some old slides of family and would like
to print them.
Any help would be appreciated.

You could take them to a specialist photo shop

If you want to put on your computer and print from there you will need
to scan them in

Flat bed scanners the one you use for photos can do it but you usually
need a light adapter - I have an HP 4470c but results were not great

Canon 9950F can do it but is in the $800 range

I saw Gould demo the Plustek at SAG open day - it is a dedicated Slide
scanner see

I am pleased with the results

Slides being small need to be scanned at high resolution if you want to
print
