TASMANIA - McSWEEN

I have to admit that, never having had a Tasmanian family, I know
absolutely nothing about the records for there.

Are they online, or something that people can look up at home from
CD???

Because I am looking for a birth about 1863 for Annie McSween,
daughhter of Kenneth McSween and Marion McInnes. Her parents manage to
arrive in Melbourne in 1859, and are later in Gippsland. But according
to the records - Annie wasn'r born here in Victoria.

So I was just wondering (she was supposed to be born at Alberton), was
the family part of the slipping backwards and forwards between
Gippsland and Tasmnaia, and Annie was actually born there.

Any clues, anyone????? Please. Her place of birth is not even given
for her marriage index entry.
