STANFORD in Melbourne

Is there some kind person out there with any directories at home that
can give me some clues about a STANFORD and Co who were sewing machine
agents in Melbourne - I suspect in the 1860s or 1870s.

Any dates, first names, addresses etc appreciated.

1860 - Samuel STANFORDgrocer, 15 High St. St. Kilda.
1861 - " " " , Punt Road, Prahan. (both close by)

1861 - STANFORD & Co.(Stanford, Davitt.C.;
Stanford, Thomas. W.)

Perhaps if Monash Uni. have some old Sands & McD.
you may be able to follow on from 1861.
