David J Grimshaw...
I would like someone to do a look up of BMD's for the following
surnames, these surnames are rather rare so there ought not be many at all.
The surnames are;
GRIMASON, GRIMESON, GRIMISON

Basically I am trying to see if John GRIMASON and Rose Ann GRIMASON nee
Mackel who arrived in South Australia in 1866 had any children born in
South Australia.
I do know of one descendant of this couple but there could be more.
This is part of my One Name Study on the GRIMASON surname.

Thanks in Advance for any help.
David

David J Grimshaw...
Hi Ray,
The GRIMSON that you found I all ready know of, this is actually a
GRIMISON and he was Christopher Pencock Kit GRIMISON.

Looks as if I will have to see what the descendant comes up with and
then try to verify the data some how.

Thanks again.
David

Ken Gibb...
Have you checked the
South Australian Biographical Index,
probably "your" State Library,or biggish Genie Library.

Hi Ken,
Due to the fact that I live in New Zealand and we do not have any States
and we are not a State of any nation it would be rather hard to find a
State library.
How ever when I next visit the Auckland Public Library I will check to
see what they have, this will be in about three weeks time.
