Sorry if this is the standard newbie question that you've all heard a
million times, but I am sort of new to this.

I have exhausted all of my living persons research, as well as inheriting
the tree from my late father. I've done as much research as possible on the
free sites, as well as plotting everything into Genes Reunited in the hope
of some feedback. So, I guess I'm now at that point where I have to start
spending some money.

I live in the States, having moved here from the UK. All my ancestors are
from the UK. My question, therefore, is a fairly simply one. What's the
services good value? Are there alternatives, such as independent
researchers?
