This really is a huge shot in the dark, but when truly
desperate..............................
I know pathetically little and what little I do know is from
somewhat suspect family sources.
Sometime in the 1950s or 60s an Alice Badger married a man
(name unknown) who may have been a local councillor
somewhere in South London, Surrey or Kent.

She would have been around 90 years old and it would have
been at least her third marriage.
Obviously I could order a relatively large number of
marriage certs until I strike lucky.
My one faint hope is that given her advanced age this just
might have been reported in one of the few newspapers that
are indexed.
I'm pretty well resigned to ordering (and paying for!)
certificate after certificate. But, if anybody does have
access to any index that might show this I'd obviously be
very grateful.
There is a One Name Study for Badgers but I've had no luck
contacting the researcher concerned.

You are, I presume, referring to the BADGER One-Name Study registered with
If you have had no reply over a period of time to reply-paid letters, by all
means contact the Guild Registrar - but the researcher as listed on the
Guild website has an address which leads to a phone number on the BT site -
why not try phone contact?
