Grauniad Article

I have not been as observant of my mailbox as normal recently as I've been quite busy. However, someone pointed out this article to me in the Guardian (I am not, it has to be said, a regular reader of this publication). Apologies if it has been posted previously.

I cannot believe that the author truly believes what she has written. As I pointed out in an email to her, the only way I could understand someone taking such a small-minded position was if they were in a high school balloon debate - or the journalists' equivalent, the 500-word filler article.

Office, which in the days before the wonderweb was like any other
public library, without the children - rammed to the gills with old
people.

Does she actually know what the heck she's talking about?? From the
above, I'd say not!
