Joe Bloggs...
I am wondering if there are any kind souls out there that will be visiting
the Tower Hill Memorial in London during the coming weeks? I am hoping that
somebody may be able to take a photograph for me and email me it.

Using web-search's image search option and specifying London, as "tower
hill memorial london" (without the quotes) reduces this to two pages.

However, if the OP wants a high resolution photo or one of the actual
inscription with his ggf's name, then he will have to rely on the more
personal touch. Sorry, I don't anticipate going that way.

Researching Penge, Anerley, London SE20, and neighbouring parts of
Beckenham, Kent.

It is of my great grandfather, Christopher FORAN

If anybody could assist, it would be much appreciated.

I may be going up to London sometime in August and visiting the Tower
of London with my dau. I can't make any promises because I don't know

Jeff...
If you are want to make your visit to the Tower memorable
I'd suggest writing for tickets to the Ceremony of the Keys.
It does require waiting around until 9pm but is well worth
the wait. But you would need to apply very soon.

She'd enjoy that I'm sure. I've seen it myself. Unfortunately it's
not something that we could do now. Maybe in a few years time though.

when or if. Last time my dau and I went to The Smoke, she passed out
on the underground and fell down the stairs at the FRC which resulted
in a ricked ankle!!

If we do go and no one else has obliged with a photo and web-search
doesn't produce the goods, I'll see what I can do for you.
