Don't think I have seen any announcement on here that the 1851 and 1861
censuses for Scotland are now available on Ancestry.

Maybe because they aren't ? As with 1841, it is indexes to these
censuses which are on Ancestry, not the census itself.

Bit picky aren't we? I didn't say the images were there, but the
indexes to both censuses are new to Ancestry, which is the point I was
drawing to peoples attention if they didn't already know.
