I'd appreciate a further tip on _finding_ the Yorkshire Parish
Registers main page. I spent half-an-hour last night clicking around

roy.stockdill...
Clicking on the underlined "Yorkshire Parish Registers" should take you
to it. There you will find an introduction by the author of the book, Colin
Blanshard Withers (good friend of mine). If the link doesn't work it's at.....

Then click on "Abbreviations" at the bottom of the screen and all is
revealed!
