You don't say where you live. If for example you happened to live 10
minutes walk away from the Family Records Centre or otherwise within easy
reach of it, you may not need any subscription to anything.

line 1998-2000 ,at that time their was some infomation searchable on
line but not as much as their appears to be today ,and seeing the news
articles that the 1841 census is on line and it completes the census
that are available it got me interested again ,
My problem is their appears to be quite a few sites that offer access
to the BMD and census info with just as many substriction offers ,I
was hoping that I could draw on the experince of this group and ask
what you would advise on the best site to use ,or are they all very
much the same ,and its a case of you pays your money and you make your
choice
I'm looking for a site that i can pay monthly but not signed up for a
year

How far back have you got so far? I would start with the free sites or those
that provide some free info...
I got most of my tree back to 1837 by using these sites and ordering
certificates from the PRO.
