Can anyone tell me the best way to find a birth record of a relative in
Ron Wynands...

will give you thousands of sources in the Netherlands, Belgium and some in
Luxembourg. You pretty well have to know the place of birth in Luxembourg
though.
Have a look.

Luxembourg? It is a relatively incommon name and I have an exact date of
birth so I would hope that I would be able to find it.
The name is Sophie Anna Conrad who was born on 17th August 1885. I
believe her parents were Jacques Conrad and Catherine (not sure of
surname). She married a Remy Bouschbacher who came from France and the
first record I have of them in the UK was in 1912 when they had a son
called Remy Mathias Bouschbacher. They lived in London for the rest of
their lives. Sophie also had a brother called Charles Michael Conrad and
the first record I can find of him is as living in Edinburgh in 1908
when he married. I can't find him in the 1901 census so I assume that
both brother and sister arrived in the UK around this time.
Are the microfilms of the 10 year indexes and births available in the
UK? If not then where are they held in Luxembourg or where could I find

Have you had a look in the Mormon Family History Library catalogue?
|
a researcher who would be willing to search the indexes for me?
Thanks in advance for your help,
