Finding William Blake

I have found my GG Grandfather, William Blake, in the 1881 census and he
gives his age as 29, born Bristol.

Problem is I cannot find any record of his birth in Bristol in 1852/3, and
FreeBMD aren't divulging any records for 1851 for some reason. All three of
his elder brothers are registered in Clifton but he seems not to be.

My next step was to get printouts of births for 1851 from 1837 Online but
they are very unclear and I cannot identify any Bristol registration
districts from these. Can anyone help me track him down?

A quick look at earlier Census suggests that in 1851 the
family was in St Mary Redcliffe, Bristol
